Contact form builder plug-in

1. Use

Vivvo Contact form builder plug-in is usefully to easy create powerful contact form which serve you to receive message from your site visitors. Plug-in will check if all off data required are filled, and check their validity too. It’s easy to install and have user friendly interface to enjoy making your contact form.

2. Installation

To install Contact form builder plug-in you need to unpack contact.zip and put files (via FTP) into plugins/contact folder on your web server.
After files are uploaded, you have to allow write permission (chmod 666) to file plugins/contact/form_shema.php. Most ftp clients have option to do it.

3. Activation

You have to define how form looks. On admin section locate: Control Panel -> Plug-in Modules -> Contact form builder.
There are two tabs. Fill each of them.

You can input as many fields as you need. Input one field and press Add new field for second field. Use 'Remove' link on right side if you have to delete something.
You may choose one of field type:

After form is submitted, preview will be show. Click on 'send' to confirm it.

You have to put link somewhere on front end. Usually in header.tpl (templates folder) add tag:
{PWP_CONTACT_LINK} (suggest before 'Set as homepage')

Link directory

1. Use

Vivvo link directory plug-in is standard 'reciprocal' link directory. That means someone can add link to him/her site in your link directory, but link will be show only if he/she put a link to your site somewhere on their site. You can control which links you will confirm, or delete some of them if unwished.
Simple navigate system will show categories and links in them.
To add new link visitors have to fill next field:

2. Installation

Link directory is not standard part in Vivvo, and it is not installed with installation of Vivvo.
First you will need to unpack links.zip into /plugins/links folder.
After that you should start installation procedure via:
http://www.your-site.com/plugins/links/installer.php (where www.your-site.com you have to replace with your site url, if you install Vivvo in subfolder include subfolder name in path).
Remember to remove installer.php after installation, to secure your data.


3. Activation

To display links to link directory page you have to insert tag {PWP_LINKS_LINK} somewhere on page where you like to display them, usually in header.tpl (admin -> Control Panel -> Templates -> Edit templates), best somewhere close to {SITEMAP_LINK}. Also, you can insert it into rest of page body, but than you have to edit those templates: index.tpl, article_Full.tpl, category_Main.tpl and framework.tpl.
Press on link, but only 'Select category' will be show since you add some link category (admin). However, if you get some error maybe you aren’t run installer first.


4. Admin page

Control Panel -> Plug-in Modules -> Links Manager
You have to add minimum one category to store links. Also you can edit, delete, add new category, and reorder category by put them up or down.
After first link you received from visitors, you have to check if there is a reciprocal link on remote page. Simply click on 'Validate links' (link are already verified when they was added, we verifying them again). Then select an category, and links in that category will be show. On beginning of each is reciprocal link status. If it is 'invalid' means that there is no reciprocal link found on remote page, other status is 'validate'.
You may confirm link - click on 'confirm' or click on 'delete' if you want to remove an link. Remember that only validated link will be show on front page. If someone remove link to your page, after 'validate links' process him/her link will disappear from links directory pages. When they back link to their site link will be activated again.

Polls plug-in

1. Use

Vivvo polls plug-in is standard internet polls with title, question, and multiple answers (radio box). It is displayed on home page and all off page on the front end.
Visitors can choice one answer, and after press 'vote' button poll result page will be show. Visitor can’t vote on the same polls twice.
There is 'Old polls' link, also. It will show list of all polls - title and question - with link to poll result page.

Polls plug-in is standard part of Vivvo CMS, no installation is needed.

3. Activation

Polls plug-in is already included in templates over {BOX_POLL} tag (index.tpl, article_Full.tpl, category_Main.tpl, framework.tpl, all in templates folder) - display content from box_poll.tpl.
When Vivvo is installed, on first time you don’t see poll box, because polls are empty.
You will need to input some question and answers in admin sections (read Polls management).

4. Administration: Polls management

Control Panel -> Plug-in Modules -> Poll
On first use you can input all poll data on one screen form.
Poll Name - appear on poll box on front end (use one-two words, or shortly sentence for best displays), also displays on admin like poll identification.
You should input question, and multiple answers. Up to 5 answers you can input on this page, but that is no limit. After form is submitted you can edit poll name, question, or any of answers (or delete some of them), or you can add more answers. You have to input answer Id, which must be different for each answer. On input form they are already populated, but you can redefine them if you have to do that.
Also, you can edit how polls like. Use Templates -> Edit templates and chose template name started with [Polls].

Sitemap plug-in

1. Use

Vivvo Sitemap will generate page contain all your category and articles in them. Of course there are only titles and links for each category / articles.
Vivvo Sitemap is useful also on another way. That is google sitemap, a xml schema of your site containing categories, articles, and authors. Dynamically generated, Vivvo Sitemap is always ready to receive claim from google search engine. XML sitemap helps google to reindex your site, keeping your site data freshen on SE, and of top off them.

2. Installation

To install sitemap plug-in simple unpack sitemap.zip and put files (via FTP) into plugins/sitemap folder on your web server. That’s it.

3. Activation

By default you have to do nothing. With default templates you got with Vivvo you can found header.tpl. In that template look for tag: {SITEMAP_LINK}. You can move link anywhere on visible area (under <body> tag) or move it to index.tpl (if you want to show them only on main page).

 

Newsfeed Importer plug-in

1. Use

This highly efficient and fast solution for populating news sites with content has been developed specifically for busy webmasters who are managing numerous websites in need of frequent updates. Newsfeed Importer allows you to pull XML/RSS feeds from another (third party) websites into specific category of your site. Choose the category where you want this news feeds to appear (or create new category), and then copy/paste the RSS link into the right-hand side box.

By default you have to do nothing. The feeds are automatically posted to main website area as articles. In order to have this plug-in work normally, your host (web server) needs to support Remote URL Opening. If this, by any chance is not the case, you will be prompted with the appropriate message. In that case, you need to contact your server administrator.
